Disclaimers / Additional Information

  • As a photographer I offer a service and I currently do not sell any products, such as physical photographs or flyers. The contract for each photography shoot covers my time and photography skills and clients are not buying images. After the shoot, the images are made available to the clients with my permission to use for promotional purposes only. I reserve and hold all copyrights and ownership of all images that I produce. After the promotional period passes for the client, the permission to use those images is voided.

  • I work in the greater Fort Collins, Colorado area. This includes Timnath, Windsor, Loveland etc. I am willing to travel more than 30 minutes from my home to take images. Any travel that takes between 30 minutes and one hour of driving one way, accrues a flat fee of $50. For consistency, I use the driving time listed on Google Maps. On a case by case basis, I will also travel more than one hour one way, at an additional fee of $100.

  • If I am hired to take aerial images with my drone, understand that I must adhere to FAA guidelines and regulations as a certified FAA pilot. This means that there might be certain safety concerns that prohibit me from flying my aircraft. This includes things such adverse weather, wind, proximity of the listing to an airport etc. If I cannot fly my drone, you will receive a full refund of the aerial images portion of the service.

  • There is a universal expectation that when I arrive to shoot images for a listing, the house or property has been prepped, cleaned, and staged how the realtor and homeowner wishes. I did not offer any of these services but I will occasionally make a minor adjustment to a house to ensure the best possible image possible. This might include adjusting a piece of furniture or moving a small item out of view, but for the best possible images the house should be looking its best and ready to shoot when I arrive. If you have any questions or concerns about how to prepare a home for photography, feel free to contact me and we can offer some pointers.

  • I go to great lengths and take care not to disturb or damage anything inside of a home. Most of my images are accomplished with a tripod-mounted camera and possibly a few other small pieces of camera equipment.

  • As previously mentioned, each time I am hired to take images of a property, a contract is drawn up and signed by both parties before the images are taken. It is the responsibility of the clients of review the contract and ask any questions as needed. I am always happy to answer any questions and take a phone call if something is not clear about my services or what to expect.
